Your representatives on the CSEA 262 Executive Board and negotiations team understand that changing health plan administrators is a complex and very personal decision for every unit member. The purpose for this web page is to inform you about where we are in that process.

We are all aware the District contribution for the health benefit has become inadequate to offset the out-of-pocket expenses incurred by many members. Some members are having to pay as much as $10,000 a year, which comes out of their yearly take-home pay!

Your Chapter 262 Executive Board and the Negotiations Team has gone to great lengths find a solution to these rising costs of health care insurance for all members, and we always negotiate with the best interest of our members as our sole motivation.
