Mt. SAC’s most important asset is its employees, because without exceptional classified professionals, faculty, and managers Mt. SAC might as well be a parking lot. CSEA 262 needs you to volunteer as a CSEA 262 representative for selection committees. To serve as a CSEA 262 representative, you must be a Chapter member and cannot work in the department hiring the employee. The college is also committed to ensuring diversity and equity, so your participation helps the college meet these goals.

If you need Selection Committee/EEO training, the next classes will be held Thursday, January 30 and February 6 at 2pm. Register for these classes at the Professional & Organizational Development web site here.
To serve as a member of a selection committee, you must have already received the Selection Committee/EEO training within the last two years. If you have not received the training, you will receive individual training from HR once you are appointed. You can also search for Selection Committee/EEO training available via POD.
