A Home Is Where the Heart Is

A house is more than just a home — it's a place where memories are made and lives are shaped. More than 20,000 members are affected by the 372 fires currently burning across California. Association President Ben Valdepeña hopes you will support your union brothers and sisters during this critical time by donating to CSEA's Assistance Fund at www.csea.com/assistance.

Have a Heart and help build the Dorothy Bjork Assistance Fund so thousands of our CSEA brothers and sisters can start to rebuild their lives.  If you would like to contribute to the Assistance fund directly, follow this link (donate by credit card).

Your donations helps sustain the fund, and the need is greater than ever.

CSEA provides cash assistance up to $1,000 to members who have been evacuated or lost their home due to natural disasters, and also provides up to $500 in assistance to members experiencing financial emergencies due to circumstances beyond their control.

Funds are provided from the CSEA Dorothy Bjork Assistance Fund, which relies solely on donations. Donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for any donation you can give.

Want to sign up for a reoccurring monthly donation? For your ongoing generosity you will receive a Humanitarian fund memorabilia pin and you will be entered into a raffle for a holiday feast winner drawn at the November board meeting.

Do you know a CSEA member in need? Call CSEA Member Benefits at (866) ITS-CSEA (487-2732).
