Classified Professional Development Day is right around the corner, and your CSEA Chapter 262 leadership encourages all to participate.  This year all CPD-Day workshops will be virtual!  You can register for a workshop and attend via Zoom.  After you have registered, you will receive the Zoom link.

As always, you are not required to attend all day.  You may attend one, two, or as many workshops as you want to attend.  During the Telecommute Agreement period, if you have not been given an assignment, you may attend workshops, but remain available for an assignment during the time you are not attending a workshop.  If you choose not to attend any CPD-Day workshops, then you must remain available for an assignment as usual.  If you attend workshops, remember to notify your manager of the times of your workshops so any assignments or deadlines can be coordinated by your manager.

CPD Day was planned and organization by the Classified Professional Development Committee and the Professional and Organizational Development team specifically for classified professionals.  For more information about the CPD Day Schedule and to register, follow this link:

Reminder: Summer 4/10 Schedule Ends

Starting Monday, August 10, all classified professionals in CSEA 262 return to your regular work schedules as they were prior to the Summer 4/10 Schedule.  Also remember that you are still working under the conditions of the Telecommute Agreement, so you are to remain available for an assignment during your scheduled hours.

Open Enrollment Continues!  Your CSEA 262 Leaders want to remind you to register for an open enrollment appointment with American Fidelity if you have not already.

Open enrollment is required if you are making a change to your benefit plan(s) or want to enroll in a supplemental Section 125 plan or other benefit.  These must be renewed yearly, so even if you are not changing your main benefit, you must sign up again for one of the supplemental benefits.  Also, Human Resources Benefits Department is asking all classified to attend open enrollment to verify vital information (home address, verify your plan, any beneficiaries, etc.).  You do not have to make any changes, just verify your information is correct.

If you have further questions or concerns, please contact your CSEA 262 leadership.
