The Mt. SAC Human Resources Department is starting recruitment for open positions again soon, and your Chapter needs you as representatives to serve on these committees.
To serve as a member of a selection committee, you must attend the Selection Committee and EEO Representative training within the last two years. If you have not received the training, there will be two selection committee trainings available through Zoom registration. Each session is two hours long.
During the telecommute period, if you are working on an assignment your manager has given you, notify your manager you want to attend the POD Selection Committee online training and provide the date and time. If your manager approves, you can attend and mark “release time” on your timesheet. If you are not working on an assignment, then you notify your manager you plan to attend, but you do not have to mark this as “release time” on your timesheet. This will be work as “paid status” on the timesheet.

CSEA 262 needs you to volunteer as a CSEA 262 representative for selection committees. To serve as a CSEA 262 representative, you must be a Chapter member and cannot work in the department hiring the employee.
