Negotiations Update - A quick and easy summary!
Outstanding news, Chapter Members! Our negotiations team has negotiated some real wins for its members! Here’s a quick look at some of the highlights:
Members will continue to have a 3-day maximum for remote work (instead of a 2-day maximum that the district proposed). This agreement will also fix several technical issues from our initial remote work agreement.
During the 8-week Summer Schedule, the district will contribute 2 hours per day (64 hours total) so that members work 8 hours per day, Monday through Thursday and still have Fridays off. This agreement is inclusive of part-time permanent employees as well.
COLA has been approved through fiscal year 2028-2029! Plus a 0.7% raise was negotiated for this year! We can expect to see a 3% increase in our paychecks after this agreement is approved in a vote by our membership.
