Telecommuting Agreement Reached
Effective immediately, all classified professionals in Unit A are on paid status. As a condition of this, all members are also subject to the Telecommuting Agreement.

President Scroggins’ message implies an agreement has already been reached. NO AGREEMENT HAS BEEN REACHED at this time.
We're Working On It
Negotiations via e-mail, or tele-negotiations as we are calling it, are challenging, and slower, but your Chapter leadership wanted to update you on our progress so far and where we are.
Stay At Home Order Issued
Today at around 5pm, California Governor Newsom issued an executive order (attached) that requires “all individuals living in the State of California to stay home.”
COLA MOU Signed
The negotiations team was able to sign an agreement with Dr. Scroggins to implement the full state-funded COLA for the 2019/2020 contract year.

Darren Stahl Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Accident
Darren Stahl, Enterprise Network Administrator in the Information Technology Department and long-time Chapter 262 member died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident Friday, 18 October 2019.
Chapter Elections / Revised Constitution
Chapter elections are coming in December, so nominations will begin with the October Chapter meeting. The October 16 Chapter meeting is going to be a very busy one, so mark your calendars and plan to attend.
